Meet Your Farmers
Hi, I am Farmer Taylor (pictured right, she/her) I am the owner and full-time farmer behind Together We Bloom. While I act as the primary face of the farm, many other people help make it all possible.
I was born here in Ogden but grew up in Davis County surrounded by farmland (dreaming of having my own farm one day.) I went on to attend the University of Utah where I received a degree in international relations (and a yoga teaching certification.)
I spent my early twenties traveling the world full-time, working as a travel writer and pursuing opportunities in farming, food, and hospitality. In 2020, covid put an abrupt stop to traveling. My life completely changed.
However, everything that once felt like a luxury to a traveler; a dog, a garden, a stable romantic relationship, became the best parts of my life.
I am honored to have this opportunity to pursue Together We Bloom.
Farmer Jesse (pictured left, he/him) Is my spouse, my co-farmer, and he does a lot of work behind the scenes at Together We Bloom. He is also originally from Ogden (fun fact- while we didn’t meet until 2019, his mom and my grandpa were childhood neighbors, talk about fate!) Jesse works full-time in sales to help support us as the farm establishes.
Farmer Shannon: (not pictured, she/her) Is my mom and an enormous part of Together We Bloom. She works at the Ogden School District as the district elementary librarian and has the summers off to help at the farm. Every harvest shift she comes to help, she has transplanted thousands of baby plants, and quickly hand weeds rows of flowers like nobody’s business.
We have a small team of dedicated helpers who have been a massive part of our ability to do what we do.
And You: We are so grateful to the other friends, family members, and community members who have contributed their time, money, energy, and support; you are all a part of this farm in so many ways
