Online Dahlia Tuber Shop Opens March 1
After our in-person dahlia tuber sales, we will offer online sales with shipping across the USA.
We are a locally-focused farm so we like to provide our direct community first access to our tubers. We will not reserve any specifically for online sales, it will simply be our remaining inventory that is available.
We will send out a newsletter on March 1 when our online shop is open. If you are interested in joining our newsletter for a reminder, you can sign up here.
Utah Dahlia Society, Tuber Sale: April 19
Date: April 19
Place: Sugarhouse Garden Center in Sugarhouse, UT
Shop dahlia tubers in person at this wonderful event that supports our local dahlia society. With hundreds of local tubers donated, there are always great options at a low price.
If you are interested in this event, I recommend joining the Utah Dahlia Society Facebook group as this is the most up-to-date location of information.
Extra remaining tubers are donated to the Utah Dahlia Society Tuber Sale each year.
2025 Dahlia Growing Workshops-TBD
In the past, we have hosted a couple of Dahlia Growing Workshops on our farm each spring.
However, with the loss of our land in 2024, we are now brainstorming new locations to host this workshop.
If you are interested in this workshop- make sure you are on our newsletter list and/or following our Instagram account.
FAQ about our Dahlia Tubers
-
Tubers will ship from Mid March through Mid April, we are unable to accommodate further specific requests.
-
To the best of our knowledge- we are sending you healthy tubers.
We do not keep or propagate any plants that show visible signs of sickness and cull during the season.
We take sanitary precautions with the tubers.
However, dahlia viruses and diseases are extremely common and can be dormant/unseen in the plants. We do not test for sickness- as this is not the industry standard and is not affordable for small growers. Over 80% of all dahlia tubers have some sort of virus or disease, it is just the way it is- no matter how ‘reputable’ the grower is.
Because dahlia diseases and viruses are so common (and can spread by insects, soil, and other plants,) we are happy to offer refunds for tubers that show suspicion of sickness within 4 weeks of the shipment date.
Contact Together We Bloom if you suspect your tuber is showing signs of sickness or disease.
-
If you are interested in wholesale bulk orders, email hello@together-webloom.com on or after April 1 to see if we have the inventory to accommodate orders.
Coming Soon: Additional Utah Dahlia Resources
I want to connect you with other local dahlia growers in our state. When you choose to buy from local growers, it helps keep these varieties available in our community year after year and it supports our local growers.
If you sell dahlia tubers (or have dahlia-related workshops / events) and would like to be featured here- please email me the information hello@together-webloom.com
