Workshop Specifics:
Where is the Workshop: on our small, urban farm in South Ogden (address will be provided the week of the workshop via email)
How Long Does the Wokrhsop Run? The workshop will last for 60-90 minutes.
What Topics will be covered in the workshop? We will talk about all things dahlias: how and when to plant them, watering, fertilizing, supporting the plants, cutting the flowers to bring inside and put in a vase, where to buy tubers, and digging and storing the tubers. This is the perfect time of year to plant tubers so we will provide a hands-on demonstration of planting so that you can go home and get yours in the ground. Bring your questions, we are happy to share all that we have learned.
How will the workshop be structured? Overall this is a casual workshop where it feels more like a bunch of garden friends coming together. You will arrive to a beautifully set and decorated long-table with a place setting for you. You will get to enjoy a tasty beverage and treats while I lead the workshop, stopping to address questions and clarifications as needed. We will then have the opportunity to stretch our legs and do a hands-on planting demonstration and check out the farm a bit. At the end of the workshop, you will have the opportunity to purchase tubers (pending availability, you can also preorder the tubers to pick up at the workshop to guarantee your selection.) and browse other goodies that we have available.
What Do I Need to Bring? You just need to dress for the weather: this workshop will be outside (open air) in a covered carport. After the workshop, we send out an extensive pdf with everything that we cover in the class so there is no need to take notes (unless you want to.) You may want to bring your wallet or your phone for Venmo in case you want to purchase anything while you are here.
Limited Spots: This workshop is limited to keep it conversational and intimate: we all sit around a long table and have snacks while we hold the workshop.
Terms and Conditions:
The workshop will be outside and will be rain or shine. Please dress according to the weather. The workshop will only be rescheduled due to weather if it is extreme. In the event of rescheduling, we will communicate these changes via email. Refunds will not be given for rescheduling.
Minimum of 6 participants: If we do not have at least 6 people sign up for the workshop, we may combine the workshops to one of the dates listed above. This will be communicated via email and refunds will not be given for rescheduling due to lack of participants.
If you are no longer able to attend the workshop, you are welcome to give your ticket to someone else but we are unable to refund tickets once they are purchased. If you do give your ticket away, please email us at hello@together-webloom.com to provide us with the new participant’s name and email address so that they can be the ones to receive updates.
